Scholarship Criteria
One-year scholarships for students graduating from Franklin County high schools who will be attending an accredited university, junior college, or trade school and who demonstrate the abilities required to successfully complete the requirements of the institution chosen. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be pursuing a degree in a health or science-related field. Preference given to students who exemplify good character and demonstrate community involvement and/or participate in one or more extra-curricular activities.
Give to the Fund
Financial gifts to the Dr. Robert L. Moore Family Scholarship Fund with the Franklin County Community Foundation allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
