Howard County Community Foundation Grants

Grants are available to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and government entities. Tax-exempt organizations classified as other than 501(c)(3) are also eligible, if and only if, the project is deemed charitable; please contact our office to discuss the project’s eligibility prior to submitting a proposal. Grants selections are made in an effort to create a better quality of life for people in Howard County Community Foundation. A local committee reviews the applications from charitable organizations serving their community.

Your gift to the Alvin and Karen Voyna Family Fund with the Howard County Community Foundation allows recommendations for grants to be made each year to support charitable causes that carry out the mission of the Community Foundation.
Your gift to the CUSB Bank Designated Fund with the Howard County Community Foundation will provide support for educational programming and/or hardship/crisis assistance for students attending Northeast Iowa Community College Cresco Center located in Cresco, Iowa.

Your gift to the Elma Trails Fund with the Elma Area Community Foundation will support the Elma Trails in upkeep and additions of trail heads, visitors center, benches, water fountains, landscaping, and signage.
