The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa is excited to present this valuable workshop to our nonprofit partners and volunteers. Led by Gina Weekley of The Weekley Connection, this interactive session will explore how inclusive leadership shapes both internal culture and community impact.

Session Topics

  • Focus on cultivating an inclusive organizational culture, where leaders examine the role of psychological safety and individual strengths in creating environments where all voices are valued.
  • Explore why inclusivity matters in community service, highlighting how inclusive practices foster stronger relationships, deeper trust, and better outcomes.

Participant Take Aways

  • Participants will gain tools to navigate difficult conversations with empathyโ€”turning challenges into opportunities to build trust and team cohesion.
  • Leaders will reflect on how their behaviors and organizational culture influence those they serve, and walk away with strategies to ensure every community member feels respected, valued, and supported.

Meet the Presenter

A picture of Gina Weekley

Gina Weekley is a nonprofit professional with over 15 years of experience increasing the capacity of organizations and programs to develop and deliver high-quality educational enrichment activities. Gina currently serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Weekley Connection Consulting and Director of People and Organizational Experience for Waterloo Community School District. Gina has extensive experience collaborating with organizational leadership and direct service staff around designing and evaluating mission-driven programming that incorporates community voice. Gina holds both a Masterโ€™s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Development and Bachelors in Liberal Studies from the University of Northern Iowa and is currently a Doctoral Student at Baylor University.
