The Kossuth County Community Foundation held its annual grant awards ceremony on April 19, announcing the distribution of $115,641.19 in grants to 44 area nonprofits and government agencies. This grant amount moved the Foundation over the $1 million mark in grants awarded since it was established in 2006 as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa.

“The work these deserving organizations do to create a stronger county is critical to making our communities places where everyone can thrive,” said Blair Redenius, Kossuth County Community Foundation committee chair. “The Kossuth County Community Foundation is proud to be a partner in their work, and we are thankful for the generosity of community-minded people who make this impact possible.”
