Professional Advisor Charitable Continuing Education Series

The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa is excited to share information about our new continuing education series for professional advisors. We value your partnership, and that is why we are offering a series of four complimentary continuing education events in 2019 around charitable topics that will help you better serve your clients. We invite you to join other engaged advisors in conversations that help enrich our communities.
Series events will last 1.5 hours and will offer 1 hour of continuing education credits for CFP and CLE and complimentary lunch.
Events will be held at the CFNEIA offices in the Ike Leighty Family Community Room at 3117 Greenhill Circle, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Series events will follow the schedule below unless otherwise noted.
11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. - Buffet lunch
11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. - Presentation & Questions
12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Attendee-led discussion on charitable hot topics

Understanding options to help your clients accomplish the charitable legacy that meets their goals. Paul P. Morf, Member - Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman, PLC, will discuss how advisors can best help their clients determine the charitable plan that meets their goals, including establishing charitable endowed or non-endowed funds, creating private foundations, or making direct gifts to charities they love.
